As a Marketo admin, you have to deal with a wide range of issues that impact your instance, especially if you've just taken over an instance or setting up a new one - there is a lot to do!
As I became more experienced with Marketo, I realised there were a number things you couldn't do in the Marketo UI but could with the Marketo REST API, like update data using the Marketo ID as the dedupe field.
With a strong motivation to get things done, I ended up writing scripts for various issues that I needed to solve. Slowly and steadily, I developed a library of scripts that helped me with issues like getting information not available in the Marketo UI, setting up or tidying up instances, cleaning up dirty data or working with duplicate records.
